How is VAM injection given to horses and camels?

VAM injection is administered by intramuscular (IM) injection. Always follow the product label and your veterinarian’s advice for the individual animal:

• Horses: 1 mL per 45 kg bodyweight (about 10 mL for a 450 kg horse), given two to three times weekly during training and racing.
• Camels: 5 mL by IM injection for smaller camels (higayg, ligaya and iddah) and 10 mL for larger camels (thanayah, howl and gilesa).
• Dogs: 0.25–1 mL per 10 kg bodyweight, twice weekly or as directed by a veterinary surgeon.

Discard any unused portion within three months of broaching the vial, and store below 25°C. The product is routinely combined with other CEVA supplements such as COPHOS B and AMP-5; check with your vet before stacking products.
